"Dear Diary, Today I stuffed some dolls full of dead rats I put in the blender." -JTHM
I'm a fish grandmother! WhoooO!
Yeah... so I noticed this morning that there were weird little small things swimming around in my fish tank... and they weren't snails. So I looked closer and discovered that they were little fish! There are 5 of them. And they are ridiculously tiny... I'd say about a milimeter long and less than a milimeter thick. Im personally excited to be able to watch them grow.
But it took forever for their parents to get down and dirty. Before the birth of the 5 new ones, there were 9 fish in my tank; 2 of them I bought specifically to breed. I saw male and female guppies and I couldn't resist buying them because well... I really wanted to see if they would have babies. They were bought about 3 months ago... so yeah... it took them a long time to fuck.
But when I noticed the presence of the new fish... I decided to clean my tank. (It was like icky green mush). And now... well... it looks so damn cool. I bought all new scenery and plants and gravel... It's purty. And just the fact that I can see through the water is amazing enough.
Anyone who has a fish tank realizes the difficulty of cleaning it. It took me over 3 hours to clean the completely filthy 10 gallon tank. And one of my dogs spent the whole time being my helper. Well, he wasn't really helping... he was just barking whenever the tank made a funny noise; and stealing paper towels when I wasn't looking... but that's Duncan for ya.
On a completely unrelated note:
Tomorrow I am getting my hair done. Finally! I've been waiting for over 6 months for my hair to grow after it ripped out in the back. Most of it is over a foot long, so it looks really nice. But in the back... completely unsymmetrical... there are chunks which are 6 to 10 inches shorter than the rest. It is irritating, because if I wanted to get it all evened out... I would have to cut it down to a boy-cut. And there is no way in hell that is happening. So now that it is long enough... I am thinking of getting the back cut short (because I have to) and keeping the front as long as possible. So I can have kind of a badass girl devil lock. I've had a devil lock before.... but it looked weird, so I'm gonna make it more subtle this time. And I am probably gonna dye it a lightish red. (After all, if I get sick of the red eventually... I can always dye it black. Instead of having it dyed black and then having to bleach it red later.) Blah... I'm just not looking forward to the price. Getting my hair done usually costs over $150. And when they dye it... they have to use an unusual amount of dye because my hair is so effin thick and volumptuous. Haha... volumptuous... couldn't resist using that word.
I'll post pictures on Sunday or something.
Rock on.
